Corona Virus Update

To our valued clients and friends:

We know that the Coronavirus, known today as COVID-19, is at the top of many of your minds just as it is here at Ability Title. Our hearts go out to the many who have been affected by the virus worldwide. For the time being, we will continue to keep our office open, until we feel there is a direct threat to our customers or staff.

While Ability Title currently remains open, we encourage customers to stay home IF:

  • You are sick or do not feel well
  • You have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19
  • You have taken a cruise within the past 30 days, or
  • You have traveled outside of the US within the past 30 days

Our office has implemented precautionary and preparedness measures to reduce potential exposure to the virus, including the following:

  • Increased cleaning frequency-high touch surfaces in our conference rooms are cleaned after each office conference. Other high touch surfaces (door knobs) are cleaned several times daily.
  • Our staff has received training on proper preventative hygiene methods to minimize risk of infection, including hand washing and sanitizing.
  • Recommending that appointments and meetings be changed to conference calls.
  • Requiring staff to stay home if they are not feeling well, including instituting PTO for staff who feel sick so they won’t have to choose between staying home or coming to work sick.
  • Implementing our business continuity plan. Should the office need to temporarily close, our staff is prepared with work from home. Calls will be forwarded to staff members for proper response. While work may be done differently than in the past, it will be completed in a diligent and competent manner.

If you have a scheduled closing with our office, we are willing to make special accommodations in a separate or outside/”open air” area to get these items executed.

The safety and peace of mind of our customers is a top priority for our company. You have our commitment that we are trying to do all in our power to maintain the health and safety of our staff and the integrity of our company.
